Abstract |
|
In this study, we investigate to reveal the degree of availability of the requirements of the leadership standard
among academic leaders at the Hashemite University in the light of the European Model of Excellence (EFQM), and to
achieve the objectives of the study, the researcher prepared a tool consisting of (25) items distributed over four areas: the
field of mission development, vision and values consisted of (8) paragraphs, the field of participation in the development,
implementation and improvement of the university management system consisted of (4) paragraphs, the field of
participation with customers, partners and community representatives consisted of (8) paragraphs, and the field of
motivation, support and appreciation of employees, the university consisted of (5) paragraphs, and the study sample
reached (78) academic leaders at the Hashemite University during the second semester of the year (2020-2021), the results
of the study showed that the arithmetic averages and standard deviations of the degree of availability of the requirements of
the leadership standard among academic leaders in the light of the European Model of Excellence (EFQM) came with an
average degree, and the results showed that there were no statistically significant differences due to the difference in the
gender variable, and there were statistically significant differences due to the impact of academic rank and in favor of the
associate professor. The study recommended paying attention to excellence management and reviewing the quality
assurance. |
