Abstract
The study aimed to identify the impact of lean thinking on strategic planning in industrial companies in Jordan from the upper and middle management perspective. The study sample was chosen randomly sample and consisted of (320) managers in upper and middle management positions in industrial companies in Jordan .The questionnaire, developed in light of previous studies and information on the theoretical framework, used a primary tool in collecting data and information and analyzed those using descriptive and inferential statistical methods. The results revealed that the degree of implementation for lean thinking and strategic planning in industrial companies in Jordan, from the upper and middle management perspective, was high for both variables. Furthermore, results showed an impact of lean thinking on strategic planning in industrial companies in Jordan from the upper and middle management perspective.
