Abstract |
|
The aim of this research is to analyze the social studies course in the secondary stage, the joint program in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to promote awareness of the concept of the Saudi national identity included in the vision of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia 2030. The research sample was the social studies course for the secondary stage (the joint program) in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the latest version 1443/2021. The research used the descriptive analytical integrative approach, through the integrative holistic view of the social studies course, and analyzed its content in an integrative analysis that reveals the role it played in promoting awareness of the concept of the Saudi national identity at the level of strategy, content, and activities, and also reveals the extent of the presence of the national vision in that scheduled, The research concluded a set of results, the most important of which are: The social studies course for the secondary stage, the third level, adopts a fixed strategy in terms of the plan, curriculum, and evaluation methods, It is based on the national vision of the Kingdom 2030, The content of the modules contributed to enhancing awareness of the concept of national identity; By employing the units of study in its five fields while relying on the axes of the National Vision 2030 in preparing students to be aware of the concept of the Saudi national identity in all its dimensions and at all the national, Arab, and international levels, The course authors are credited with their ability to employ activities and evaluation messages in linking the scientific content and the national identity, and the National Vision of the Kingdom 2030 had an active presence at the level of the course.
