Abstract
The study aimed to develop a proposed vision through which a set of mechanisms can be used through which to overcome the challenges facing small and medium enterprises to achieve the desired benefits from joining global value chains; In order to achieve, the descriptive analytical approach was used through the presentation and analysis of studies and literature in the field of study in order to reach the challenges facing small and medium enterprises in developing countries, and to identify the concept of global value chains and all aspects associated with it, in addition to shedding light on the opportunities available for the growth of small and medium enterprises. Upon joining the global added value, and identifying the most prominent obstacles that limit the achievement of this growth.
