Abstract |
|
This study aimed to identify the impact of organizational justice in reducing the level of psychological burnout among employees of telecom companies in the Kingdom of Bahrain (Zain, Batelco and STC). The quantitative approach was adopted to answer the study questions and to achieve the main objective of the study. Questionnaires survey was used as an essential tool for data collecting. Out of (341) questionnaires sent to employees in telecom companies, (338) questionnaires were collected representing 99% of the respond rate. The results of the study revealed that organizational justice has a statistically significant negative effect on the level of psychological burnout. The distributive justice dimension adversely affects the level of psychological burnout, followed by the interactive justice dimension. Also, the study reported statistically significant differences between the employees of telecommunications companies in the Kingdom of Bahrain on the level of psychological burnout due to demographic variables (gender, age, and years of experience, educational qualification, and marital status). Based on the results of the study, several recommendations were formulated, such as reduce stressful situations that employees may be exposed to and with regard to direct communication with customers, while making use of strategies to combat burnout.
