Abstract |
|
The study aimed to uncover the most important laws, regulations and rules governing artificial intelligence and the field of journalism in order to obtain a more comprehensive understanding of the legal implications and considerations involving all parties involved in the production, development and use of these technologies. The study used a qualitative analysis approach through which a number of texts of laws and legislation were examined and extrapolated. The rules issued in the field of artificial intelligence, as well as monetary studies and opinions on this legislation, especially in global, regional and local countries, have been monitored in the sample of the study (EU, US, China, UAE, Saudi Arabia and Egypt).
The study found several findings, including that ethical strategies and charters can have an impact only by enacting legislation and laws binding on companies, programmers and researchers that require accountability. That legislation must regulate the development of the use of artificial intelligence so that it is used in a responsible person in an ethical and secure manner, and that programs and applications generated by artificial intelligence protect citizens rights natural or legal person, including the right to privacy and the right to non-discrimination and that the concept of artificial intelligence journalism has expanded to include many other concepts such as television journalism, Video press, podcast press, immersive press, drone press, Data journalism, which calls for the inclusion in new legislation of all means of protecting audiences rights to content production, data privacy and intellectual property.
