Abstract |

This study explores the dielectric properties and AC conductivity of HDPE-Cu and HDPE-Ni composites. It was found that the dielectric constant decreases with increasing frequency, primarily due to directional polarization, with minimal variation across the temperature range. The effect of filler concentration on the dielectric constant varies between the two types of composites. Additionally, dielectric loss decreases with frequency, while AC conductivity increases, showing distinct patterns influenced by the characteristics of the fillers. Both the size and distribution of filler particles have a significant impact on the dielectric and electrical conductive properties of the composites.
