The study aimed to monitor and determine the relationship between the exposure of people with disabilities in the Kingdom of Bahrain, regardless of their disabilities (motor, deaf and dumb, visual), to social networks and their achievement of presence and levels of social interaction. Based on the media survey approach, a survey was conducted on a sample of Bahraini youth with disabilities (motor, deaf and dumb, visual) social media users. The questionnaire form was also applied to a sample of Bahraini youth with disabilities (motor, deaf and dumb, visual) of 200 individuals between the ages of 18-40. The sample was selected according to the available intentional sample criteria, taking into account its equal distribution between males and females from the four governorates of the Kingdom of Bahrain (Manama, Muharraq, Northern Governorate, Southern Governorate). Among the most important results: Social networks topped the list (influencers, unreliable accounts, and news from unknown sources). Regarding the effectiveness of social platforms in integrating people with disabilities with the rest of society, the total (effective to the maximum degree, effective to a high degree, effective to some extent) reached 84%, as social platforms provide common dialogue forums to present ideas and proposals to solve societal problems facing people with disabilities. The study also showed a correlation between the rate of exposure of Bahraini youth with disabilities to social networks and the extent of their social interaction. The study recommends the need to develop the Bahraini government media system to ensure the preservation of the identity of Bahraini society and protect it against anything that threatens Bahraini national security. In addition, the government and official bodies funding satellite channels, newspapers and news agencies must restructure the economic structure of their media system, especially in light of the growth of artificial intelligence technologies, which will inevitably change media production methods over the next five years. It also recommends activating the sign language service on Bahrain TV and video journalism, which is provided through the official accounts of Bahraini and Gulf newspapers and media outlets in general, to achieve the integration of people with disabilities with the rest of society.
