Abstract
This study aimed to identify Bahrain Televisions multi-platform programming system and to assess Bahrain Televisions level of digital transformation, in terms of both form and content. by using a case study approach and quantitative content analysis to explore and assess Bahrain Televisions digital transformation, Data was gathered using content analysis of 8 daily and weekly non-repeated programs by industrial week sample of 26 weeks, that were broadcast or webcast in Bahrain Television or any multi-platform system, including the mobile website "Online" the Bahrain Television website, YouTube and Instagram. This study was based on Roger Fidlers "Media morphosis theory," which asserts that the evolution of different media is shaped by a complex interplay of factors such as perceived needs, competitive and political forces, and social and technological innovation. According to this theory, todays new media builds upon the foundations laid by previous media, often borrowing their formats and structures. In light of this, my research aims to explore how these dynamics have influenced the development of modern media. The findings indicated that Bahrain Television successfully implemented multi-platform systems in its digital transformation but did not incorporate sufficient participatory features on web and mobile platforms to foster community engagement and user interaction, the use and presence of social network accounts are well-established in the Bahraini television landscape.
