Abstract |
|
This paper explores the critical role of data cleaning in ensuring the quality and reliability of data within Distribution Electrical Communication Networks (DECN). Data quality issues such as inconsistencies, errors, and missing values can severely impact decision-making processes and operational efficiencies within DECN. We begin with a comprehensive overview of general data cleaning principles and commonly employed techniques. Subsequently, we focus on a specialized data cleaning approach tailored specifically for DECN, highlighting its functionalities, challenges, and potential applications. This review addresses fundamental inquiries regarding data types and proposes future research directions to enhance data cleaning methodologies within DECN contexts.
