Abstract |
|
In this paper, the standard P1-discontinuous Galerkin method approximation for elliptic PDEs with a weakly regular source
term and ∞ -coefficients is considered. We propose introducing a new truncated interpolation operator Ihd,k to replace the operator Ihk L
used in [1, 6]. We prove that it is possible to eliminate a principal constraint imposed on the N × N stiffness matrix Q. The statements and proofs of [1,6] remain valid according to the new operator.
