Abstract |
|
The archive is considered as the identity of nations and evidence of their existence throughout the ages. It
contains historical documents of great importance, as it specializes in many ways and aspects, including the military,
political, social, economic and cultural archives. It represents the nation’s heritage and therefore an indispensable memory.
And the national archive centers were tasked to preserve it in a way that matches its nature and importance and were held
trust as an effective primary institution in all countries of the world because the preservation of this heritage is a protection
of the national identity and the preservation of one of the symbols of its sovereignty, for it plays an important role in the
life of the nations. It is its past that reflects its successes and Its failures and the ways of thinking and activity within all its
sides at all its levels. It is also a source of information that helps identify the history and glories of their people, and see in a
detailed pattern of their lifetimes seeking to know the realities and acquire the knowledge derived from the references
contained within those documents |
