Abstract |
|
The study aimed to develop the fashion design curriculum in light of the developments of the Fourth Industrial Revolution for the development of labor market projects for home economics students. The sample of study consisted of (60) home economics students, specializing in clothing production in the Aqaba Governorate. The developed program and labor market need scale was applied, in addition to an achievement test and an observation card for fashion design skills. The study used the quasi-experimental method. The data were analyzed using the Statistical Package for Social Sciences (SPSS). The results of the study showed that there were statistically significant differences between the mean scores of the experimental and control groups in measuring the needs of the labor market in favor of the experimental group in the post- measurement of the study, which indicates the effectiveness of the developed program. The study also showed that there were no statistically significant differences between the mean scores of the experimental and control groups in the measure of labor market needs in the tribal measurement. The study recommended the implementation of other studies on the needs of the labor market in Jordan.
