|
| In the present paper, we propose a new generalized Lindley distribution, which generalizes the Lindley distribution and many extensions and generalization of it as proposed by various authors and researchers in recent years. Various properties of the generalized Lindley distribution are provided. We have also investigated the characterization of the generalized Lindley distribution by first truncated moment. The characterizations by order statistics and upper record values have also been investigated.
