Abstract |
|
The present paper aims to identify the role of re-engineering administrative processes in improving administrative performance at the Ministry of Health in Kingdom of Bahrain. Two hundred employees were surveyed. The analysis is based on the outcomes of the questionnaire that was distributed to a representative sample of the employees. The researchers hypothesized that there was a significant causal relationship between re-engineering administrative processes (radical redesign, fundamental changes and focus on key processes) and improving administrative performance (simplify work procedures, size of performance and speed up the work. The results showed that the hypothesis was accepted. Moreover, there were no significant causal differences related to the role of re-engineering administrative processes (radical redesign, fundamental changes and focus on key processes) and improving administrative performance (simplify work procedures, size of performance and speed up the work) at the Ministry of Health in Kingdom of Bahrain due to the employees’ demographic variables of gender, age, qualification, position and years of experience.
