Abstract |
|
The present paper aims to investigate the causal relationship between entrepreneurial leadership and competitive advantage. The study adopted the quantitative method. Survey data was collected from 230 SMEs from the Bahraini manufacturing sector. The data were analyzed using a statistical package for the social sciences (SPSS) (version 21.0). The results showed a significant relationship between entrepreneurial leadership and competitive advantage in SMEs. This study significantly contributes to the existing literature in entrepreneurial leadership and competitive advantage. This study also provides a practical implication for practitioners in terms of applying entrepreneurial leadership in SMEs. Moreover, it presents visions on how the entrepreneurial leadership in SMEs deals with the competitive environment in the Arab Gulf region, especially in the kingdom of Bahrain. The results provide a basis for other researchers to conduct new research in the future.
