Abstract |

Talking about civil society in the Arab countries is accompanied by a number of theoretical, methodological and applied problems. Therefore, it is important to clarify its concepts, mechanisms of action, and the paths of the intertwined relations between it and the political systems.
There are various visions that attempt to explain the aforementioned relationships associated with civil society, those visions and approaches range from; the relationship of civil society with modernity and development, the relationship of civil society with the state and its political system, the relationship of civil society with the religious institution, the results of the study came to explain these visions and to clarify the role and mechanisms of work of this important sector with key roles in bringing about development. The results were concerned with highlighting the direct relationship between the growth of the roles of civil society organizations and between political development and achieving its goals.
