|
| This manuscript provides new exponential ratio type estimators in simple random sampling and double sampling techniques by using supplementary information in the form of an attribute. It is revealed that suggested exponential ratio type estimators are more efficient than the existing estimators proposed by Bahl and Tuteja (1991), Singh, Chauhan, and Sarwan (2009), and Yadav (2013). An empirical study is included for illustration; it is also observed that the proposed estimators are enhanced than existing estimators.
