Abstract |
|
In this paper, the author have attempted to obtained Bayes and maximum likelihood estimators for the two unknown parameters of the inverse Weibull distribution using lower record values. Also, Bayes estimators under the squared error loss with a bivariate prior distribution have been derived. Prediction for future lower record values is presented from a Bayesian view point, as well. Numerical computations are presented using R software to illustrate the results.
