In this present day, people have improved their lives from every angle. They have overcome many difficulties in their lives and becomes more civilised. Apart from that, human life has a very ugly, sad reality, that is, different types of violence that could occur with them. And amongst them, the most cruel is the Intimate Partner Violence or IPV. This type of violence could happen to both men and women. But generally, IPV mostly occurs on women, compared to men. In this kind of violence, the violence takes place on the victims by their intimate partners. For this reason, it is very much painful for the victims as it is done by their intimate partners. In this paper, we are trying to focus on the main causes for occurrence of IPV in India and Bolivia by applying the techniques of cross tabulation and multinomial logistic regression.
