Abstract |
|
The effect of viscosity of an infinite fluid lying over the surface of micropolar honeycomb
half space has been investigated due to a concentrated source. The expressions
of displacement components, microrotation, force stress and couple stress are obtained
in the transformed domain after applying the integral transforms. A numerical inversion
method has been used to obtain the resulting expressions in physical domain. As
a special case the deformation caused due to a moving load has been deduced from the
present problem by changing some parameters. The numerical results are presented
graphically. Some particular cases have also been derived and these results have been
compared with already established results. |
