Abstract |
|
In this paper, a numerical method is introduced to solve systems of integral equations. The method consists of reducing the
system of integral equations to a system of algebraic one, by considering the solution as a series, in terms of Legendre wavelets with
unknown coe?cients on the interval [0,1]×[0,1] . The operational matrices of integration and product and the error bound are calculated
for two dimensional Legendre wavelets and at the end some examples are presented to illustrate the efficiency and the simplicity of the
method. It is expected the lesser computational costs compared to the other common methods. The results reveal that this method is
very effective and can be applied for other problems in different fields of sciences. |
